If you only plan on indoor use, or infrequent camping with your battery-powered air mattress, a more inexpensive air bed will probably work out great - for heavier use, your best bet is a better-quality model, such as an Aero. They're made out of tougher materials, and will hold up better to the rigors of camping. (Note: some battery-powered models, such as the Swiss Gear Airbed, use normal, non-rechargeable batteries.)
